Considered as living fossils of the plant kingdon, these plants have been in earth before the dinosaurs. Atractive palm like plants (they are not orchids), belonging to a unique family with separate sexes, male and female plants producing large seed cones. Their size stays small enough to keep them in the house or greenhouse for several years. Appropiate for low light conditions. Cites protected plants, they have been reproduced for two generations in the nursery. We offer Panamanian species.
